Almond chia pudding

Almond chia pudding

A perfect pick-me-up for a weekend. I personally love making chia pudding because it’s one of the most versatile and effortless breakfasts to put together. I recently made this almond chia pudding with kiwi, sliced granny apples, dried cranberries and homemade granola. It was more of a clean-your-fridge day, so don’t worry if you don’t have all the ingredients listed below. Simply substitute one or two of them with what you have at home (other types of milk, fresh fruits, maple syrup) and you’ll have a similar outcome.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup baby oats

1/2-3/4 cup almond milk (add more if needed)

1 1/2 tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp almond butter

1 tbsp organic honey

Toppings:

Kiwi

Sliced granny apples

Dried cranberries

Homemade granola (or any nuts/seeds)

Directions:

Add all the ingredients into a blender. Blend for 30 seconds until smooth. You can choose to freeze for 20-30 minutes before serving or simply pour the mixture into a bowl and serve immediately. Dress it up with fruits, nuts, granola, chia seeds and a drizzle of honey. Get creative!
